When We Are Closed
If you ring the surgery number you will hear a voice mail message which will give you instructions on how to contact a doctor.
The telephone number for Out of Hours calls between 8am and 8.30 am and between 6.00pm and 6.30pm is 0300 1230762. All other calls between 6.30pm and 8am should be made to NHS 111
Your urgent out of hours medical care is commissioned by the Primary Care Trust.
To ensure that your records are complete, details of out of hours consultations are passed to us and are retained in your notes.
Dispensary Lunchtime Closure 12.30 – 2.00pm
Our dispensary is closed from 12.30-2.00pm daily for collection of medication. This allows the patient services team to complete important patient administration, including processing prescription requests, registering new patients and scanning and workflowing all hospital correspondence.

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.
Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:
- Treat yourself at home
- Go to a Primary Care Centre
If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
